Hi
Is there a way to specify in detail what items to monitor, like sql servers profiler? Or is anyone working on it for future versions?

Super Guru
I think different people use different tools for the purpose.
Some use MySQL administrator it has couple of graphs.
I mainly use CACTI for long term graphing. It can be a bit buggy but you can find good templates.
NAGIOS is great for monitoring.

Cacti is really nice for long term graphing. Using the latest Cacti and the templates from this site.

Most of the original work on that template is from the DB admins from Flickr and Digg IIRC.
